Personaly, I like domains without the www. in front of it. It just safes 4 keystrokes.

For anyone who likes to type extra characters; change $domain into 'www.domain.com'
Here's a simple code snippet to count how many visitors there are currently online on your website. If you got a member-system you can track the logged in members by providing an other $userID.
My suggestion if your site is really busy: create a cronjob from the part where the SQL-query deletes the expired entry's and let it run every x minutes (depending on the time-to-live setting).

This isn't my first blag-post in my life, there where thousands before this one.
Yet, this one feels different, it's a strange feeling. I'll tell you why.
I am a coder, mainly focused on PHP/MySQL and every time I need a piece of software, I'll just write it myself. This is where the difference jumps in; the piece of software that you are looking at right now is not mine.
The people at b2evolution did a great job writing this software, and I am using it because 1;I don't got time to wite it and 2;it looks and works fantastic!
A friend of mine, Killerbean, finaly got his own domain and is using b2evolution. So I just ripped the idea. Thanks mate 
What to expect? Well this is not gonna be a blag about myself, I'm not gonna tell you that I am born in the winter of '85 and I'm not going to write about my vacation to Italy for 17 days with 8 totaly strangers. I'm not. If so, kill me.
Back to the question: expect writings about PHP/MySQL, for that is what I like in my life. And thats not boring.
